Avista Utilities customers with qualifying incomes can receive weatherization (insulation and air sealing) or heating system improvements through Avista Utilities and their local community action agency.

Idaho Power
Idaho Power provides financial assistance to Idaho and Oregon Community Action Partnership (CAP) agencies to help cover the cost for weatherization of electrically heated homes of qualified customers.

Project Share
Project Share is a community program supported by shareholders, customers and employees. The funds are forwarded to community action agencies, which work with each family. Grants are available to those in need without regard to their heating source.

Rocky Mountain Power
Lend a Hand
Rocky Mountain Power works with local non-profit agencies that help customers in need pay their electricity bills. Income-qualifying customers can receive free weatherization services, which may include insulation, refrigerator replacements, compact fluorescent light bulbs and measures that improve water heating efficiency.
