New Hampshire Public Benefit Funds for Energy Efficiency

New Hampshire Public Benefit Funds for Energy Efficiency

  • New Hampshire's Core Energy Efficiency Programs were implemented statewide during 2002 for customers of regulated electric utilities. The legislature had passed a restructuring law in 1996 that authorized a system benefits charge (SBC) for the program, which includes a low-income component called the Home Energy Assistance Program. See electric utility restructuring.
  • New Hampshire’s two natural gas utilities also have low-income energy efficiency programs.
