September 25, 2020 – The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (WV DHHS) has stated that a supplemental benefit payment is being distributed to utility customers who received assistance from The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The supplemental benefit amount is $125.
According to the WV DHHS, the payment will be issued to the main energy supplier for the customer’s home. Customers who received LIEAP for bulk fuels will receive a check by mail. These supplemental payments should be received by the middle of October 2020.
