September 23, 2024 - Reallotment funds have been made available to LIHEAP Grant Recipients this week. A Dear Colleague Letter published by the Office of Community Services (OCS) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the release of $15,494,946 of federal Fiscal Year (FY23) reallotment funds. This funding issuance counts and the final one in FY24. The FY23 realloted funds must be obligated by no later than September 30, 2024 or be included in the grant recipient's carryover into FY25 and then obligated by no later than September 30, 2025.
